TransBiodiesel was selected as the best start up company in Israel in July 2010.
![]() It has introduced the first commercial, patent protected enzymatic process for the production of biodiesel from Crude & pure vegetable Oil.
It has as recently as 2011 moved from the start up to commercial stage. Building pilot plants around the world and producing thousands of Tons of Biodiesel per year.
TransBiodiesel has patented technology on the use of unique immobilized enzymes ( Biocatalyst). The immobilized lipases are characterized with their high resistance towards short-chain alcohols, typically used as substrates in the production process of biodiesel.
They are also tolerant to various inhibitors typically present in raw materials. The enzymes are safe, competitive, inexpensive, reliable & high quality biocatalyst of lasting value which are active for up to a year if handled properly.
Feedstocks are used from different types of oils, including plant oils, animal fats and recycled greases, waste cooking oil ( yellow grease) and other low grade oils. In particularly, the developed enzyme possess esterification and transesterification activity, therefore feedstocks regardless of the FFA content ( 1- 99%) can always be used for the production of biodiesel. New Israeli Development
The CEO of Nufar Ltd., Israel Solodoch, says that the company recently held the first competition ever in Israel for inventions and patents that was held in Tel Aviv. The first prize in this competition was awarded for a solar panel that produces many tens of percent more electricity than existing solar panels.
The second prize was given to an invention that creates electricity from surplus water pressure in water pipes. This invention has already been sold to Israel’s Mekorot water company that uses it to save a great deal of the energy required to ensure that the water flows in its pipes. According to Israel Solodoch, Nufar’s CEO, the inventions competition was intended to allow meetings between inventors and investors from around the world in order to develop and apply their inventions. Any inventor developing a new idea, even if it is the most important invention of the 21st Century, is usually forced to waste much time and effort in attempts to find investors to put money into his ideas. As a result of this, many inventions remain in the drawer, they do not reach the development and realization stages which is a loss to mankind in general. The inventions and patents competition was intended to contend with this barrier. In this competition, an inventor can meet an investor face to face and on equal terms even if the investor represents a large concern or venture capital fund. Such a direct meeting helps inventors realize there inventions quickly and efficiently. Realizing inventions, developing and marketing them will help Israeli industry and exports, will develop the economy and maintain Israel’s qualitative technological edge. New ideas always play a vital role for technological development and global economic growth. At times of economic crisis, new ideas and inventions are even more important and needed. During an economic crisis, many company owners who find themselves in an economic slowdown, look for new ideas to invest in in order to maintain their company’s profitability and even possibly to increase it. Another idea by Nufar Ltd. for creating meetings between inventors and investors is the “Israeli Patents Website”: www.nufar.co.il/PAGE142.asp on which the inventions of inventors from all over the world can be advertised free of charge. Potential investors visiting this website will be able to read about these inventions and apply directly to the inventor concerned. Other inventions that may be found on the Israeli patents website are: an invention to save 80% of domestic water consumption and an invention to save children from drowning in swimming pools and in the sea.

A New Israeli invention allows vehicles to improve vehicle traction in sand, mud and snow ![]() Link to ISRAEL21C full article Link to CNN full article: http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-901046 This new invention was presented at the Nufar Inventions and Patents Exhibition that recently took place in Tel Aviv.
This new invention consists of an ancillary disc that is fitted to the car’s wheel. The diameter of the disc is smaller than the diameter of the wheel, but after installing the disc, a handle can be turned that increases the disc’s size until it is the same diameter as the wheel.
The disc raises the car several centimeters while gripping the road well as it is equipped with special spikes.
Upon commencing driving, the car leaves the difficult spot and starts to travel with stability and safely.
The disk allows travel and good traction on difficult stretches involving sand, mud and even on slippery roads covered with snow and ice.
This invention also includes an electrically operated version. The driver flicks a switch on the car’s dashboard. A small motor operates the ancillary disc thus increasing its size to the diameter of the wheel allowing the car to continue its journey without the driver having to leave the vehicle.

This invention has been tested successfully in Israel.
The Israeli grower, Rafi Koren, from Moshav Avigdor, has developed a successful solution to prevent the disease, Mal Seko, which devastates lemon groves around the world.
This problem is a fungus which attacks and dries out the tree. It spreads from the roots to the branches, on its way damaging the small tubes that run up the tree which desiccates it to the point of killing the tree completely.
This fungus is very infectious and moves from tree to tree thus wiping out entire groves.
To the right of the photograph you can see a lemon tree that has dried out after being attacked by this fungus . To the left, for purposes of comparison, is a healthy lemon tree that was successfully treated by this invention.
In other photographs you can see that this grove has been left entirely intact and not infected by the “sick” tree in the photograph that would have happened had preventative treatment not being carried out.
This invention will be marketed globally by the Israeli company, Nufar.
Nufar Ltd. presents Israeli inventions and markets them around the world. Nufar owns the Israeli patents website that provides free advertising for inventions created by Israeli inventors.
This website serves as a showcase and gives Israeli inventions global exposure. Here you will be able to meet directly Israeli inventors and investors from around the world.

Car Tower
Small tower over the car with altitude that can change from (.3 - 1 meter) or higher equipped with 360 degree camera; to provide round view for all the surrounding environment from above to a monitor inside the car.
The NEW IDEA: is the tower up high equipped with the 360 camera that will provide all what a regular tower can provide: The look from above with more and better information.
Due to the small and light weight of modern camera the tower can be slim similar to the antenna
Those benefits can be shortening into these points:
1.Since we can't change the land marks but the 360 degree camera that is installed up high will help in curved and non flatted (uncovered) roads providing an excellent informative picture around the car.
2.In case you try to bypass the car in front of you wouldn't be surprised to find more cars ahead of the car you trying to pass.
3.In driving you are forced to look left right back mirrors and other mirrors and that will be a problem if you are moving fast or in crowded area where you need to act fast; using this technique all you need to do is one look at the monitor.
4.In night drive the camera over the tower will not be exposed to opposite car's light that will not enable you to see. The use of automatic bright adjusting system also can be beneficial.
5.Night vision camera can also be installed on the tower that will add great value.

A new Israeli development puts an end to dog poo!
This new development will also prevent children becoming infected with diseases and tapeworms from having come into contact with dog feces in sand pits Nufar Hi-tech, which specializes in the development of patents and innovative products, announces that this hygienic installation that has just been developed will initially be marketed in Israel, Europe and the United States.
The scope of international sales is estimated at about one billion dollars a year.
This hygienic installation is an Israeli innovation which allows, through a quick connector without any direct contact, to throw dog stools away directly into a bin hygienically and elegantly.
Nufar Hi-tech says that the reason for developing this new gadget derives from the fact that dog feces has become a serious problem in large cities and constitutes serious harm to the quality of life of residents, as well as an increased burden on municipal authorities whose responsibility it is to remove waste and keep streets clean.
A significant proportion of dog owners ignore the environmental damage that they cause and the risk of infecting children with diseases and tapeworms as a result of contact with dog waste when playing in sand pits.
This innovation is delicate and lightweight, that is connected to a dog in a special way that allows its easy removal, thus offering an elegant and clean solution to the problem.
Nufar Hi-tech is negotiating with several investors and companies for purposes of producing this product in Israel.
The estimated investment needed to produce an initial quantity for marketing is in the order of about NIS 5 million.
Furthermore, commercial contacts are being made with franchise holders to market this innovative product in Europe and in the United States.
The international marketing potential for this invention is estimated at about one billion dollars a year.
This new product has been patented and can be protected through an international patent registration in the future.

A standing computer workstation: Working on a computer can be either while sitting or standing. Working while standing allows a better flow of blood to the lower part of the body and also helps to prevent back and shoulder pain. This new idea also contributes to using the leg muscles while you work and helps to burn about 500-600 calories each working day. In this way, even if you get back home at the end of the day and find that you have no more energy for exercising, this is not so terrible, because you already did it at work! |
An
automatic
system for self –cleaning of airconditioning unitsWe have developed an automatic system for self –cleaning of air conditioning units. The System collects the condensed water during normal operation, and after shutting off the AC unit (or any other timing) the system performs a self cleaning process with the accumulated water. Finally the water is drainage out through the normal drainage tube. The parts cleaned include the blower, filters and the catalyst.
This self-cleaning feature will increase the unit’s market attractiveness by enhancing the efficiency of the AC unit and decreasing energy requirements. Regular use of the automatic cleaning system ensures a clean and dry AC unit and patency of drainage system.
The system can be designed into a new unit or be easily installed in preexisting units.
